What you will Need

*I do get a small referral off of Amazon Link’s that are attached. This helps me keep making content and sharing recipes :) So thank you!

Ingredients

  • 1 Gallon of Whole Milk

  • 2 packets of yogurt starter or 1/2 cup of quality yogurt

  • Honey - to taste

  • Vanilla - to taste

  1. Double check your instapot is CLEAN & remove the rubber ring from the top of the lid.

  2. Pour in your milk and press the “Sauce” button and let the milk heat up to 180 degrees (you will need to use your thermometer). This will kill the bacterias that keep the milk from turning to yogurt.

  3. After milk heats to 180 take the inner pot out and let it sit on the counter until it cools to about 110 degrees F., be patient this can take a few hours.

  4. Put your pot back in and mix in the starter or yogurt, press the yogurt button and set your time to 9 hours.

  5. Once the 9 hours is up put fine mesh cheese cloth or you can use a yogurt strainer. Let the Whey sit. for 24.-48 hours the longer you let it sit the thicker it will be.

  6. I put ours in small jars for quick grabs for the week, school snack or to make morning smoothies with. Add in your favorite fruits, oats, chia seeds etc!
