Servings: 8-10 Biscuits

Tips & Tricks:

If you do not have buttermilk on hand put 2 tbsp of white vinegar in 1 cup of regular milk and let it sit a few minutes to thicken up

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour (may need a little extra if too sticky)

  • 1 cup Buttermilk (see tip below)

  • 4 tsp baking powerder. (Aluminum free)

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 5 tbsp softened butter

  1. Preheat oven to 450

  2. Put all dry ingredients together and mix

  3. With a fork cut your butter into your flour mixture

  4. add in your buttermilk

  5. mix until incoroorated but do not over mix, just kneed lightly

  6. butter your cast iron skillet, I use a 10' skillet to cook in

  7. bake 15 minutes or until golden brown
